Living Desert will host the WildLights event from November 24 to December 24. 30
The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens announced Friday that it will launch its “WildLights” holiday event next week.
The 29th annual event will open to the public on Wednesday, Nov. 24 from 6 to 9 p.m. and will run on select nights through Dec. 30, according to organizers.
A members-only preview party will be held on November 23.
Presented by the HN and Frances C. Berger Foundation and recognized by USA Today as Readers’ Choice Best Zoo Lights for two consecutive years, the event features more than one million lights along with other holiday decorations and entertainment spread throughout the whole park.
“This year we have so much to celebrate and we are thrilled to welcome our guests back to WildLights this holiday season,” said Allen Monroe, President and CEO of The Living Desert.
“With our new Rhino Savanna and the joy throughout the park, we are honored to be part of the family memory making traditions. Plus, every time someone visits The Living Desert, they’re contributing to our mission to save endangered species, so we invite everyone to join in the festivities while supporting an important cause.
Advance reservations are required for members and guests. Admission is $16 for adults, $14 for members, $12 for children 3-12, and military with ID. Children under three are free.
