The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department now confirms that investigators from the Specialized Investigations Division now join the search to locate Lauren Cho.

Morongo Basin Station detectives and search and rescue members are trying to locate the woman who has been missing from the high desert since July. Lauren Cho, also known as “El” mysteriously disappeared from Yucca Valley on June 28.

Investigators say it was late in the afternoon when “she allegedly walked away from the residence where she resided in the 8600 block of Benmar Trail.”

“Investigators are investigating all leads and working with family and friends of Ms. Cho. Future research operations will take place as other leads develop.”
