While getting a score of 7,000 or more is pretty easy in the Kalimari Desert with Morton and just about anyone else, players have discovered a secret shortcut that makes it easier to get higher scores.
According to the video evidence above, the shortcut is near the start of the race and you need to turn off smart steering to be able to drive on the sand. To turn off smart steering, just dig into the game’s settings.
According to a fan on Reddit, they were able to increase their score from 9.2k to 11k using this shortcut. This is basically very useful for keeping your combo alive with an extra jump boost, especially if you land on the next ramp.
