What happens when you accidentally find yourself participating in a rally in the desert?

Many people can ride motorcycles, and still others can capture their trips on video. Some can even put together thoughtful video stories that show all viewers the stories they want to tell. However, very few can do what Noraly, aka Itchy Boots, seems to do. Who else do you know who would accidentally find themselves in the middle of a rally across Baja, Mexico?
For anyone just catching up, Noraly traveled from Ecuador to Alaska, all aboard his trusty Honda CRF350L Rally. Through it all, she narrated and filmed her adventures, uploading them to YouTube along the way. That way, everyone who watches her can take the journey with her, in their own way.
In this video, she started off as she does most mornings, excited about the day’s adventures. But this time it was different. The trail she ended up on was absolutely stunning, dotted with breathtaking scenery and desert flora that can only be found in this particular corner of the world. Some of the cacti were even in bloom, further adding to the splendor of the trail.
Now Noraly has already taken part in a real rally, when she tackled the Kalahari in 2021 as a pilot for the first time. This time, however, she found herself the wrong way on a seemingly rally course as the rally unfolded. Several runners passed it in the other direction, as you will see in this video.
Luckily neither was going very fast, and she did her best to stay off the main line and stay to the side as she moved forward. The four-wheeled rally participants were expected to follow the motorcycles soon after, although there were no markers to indicate this was a rally route.
However, the path forked at some point, and it appears that the next piece of track Noraly chose was not another part of the rally route. Instead, she was left alone to ride and experience the pure joy of some of the most stunning desert scenery she says she has ever seen. Considering the depth and breadth of the riding she shares on her YouTube channel, that’s saying something.
