Where is Carnage filmed?

Carnage is filmed in the Kalahari Desert in South Africa.

The purpose-built tracks are in a remote location north of Cape Town in the Tankwa Karoo National Park.

The nearest town, Ceres, and the main road are a two hour drive from the plateau.

During filming, the crew stayed in purpose-built camps, but due to strong winds and sandstorms, some of the tents blew up.

Temperatures also climbed to 40 degrees, which meant some days it was too hot for the camera to work.

What is the climate of the Kalahari Desert?

“Kalahari” is derived from the Tswana word “Kgala”, which means “the great thirst”, or Kgalagadi, which means “a place without water”.

The desert is characterized by vast expanses of red sand without any permanent surface water.

It covers parts of South Africa, Botswana and Namibia.

The average temperature of the hottest month in any region of the Kalahari never exceeds 29 ° C, but it can sometimes reach highs of 45 ° C.

The Tankwa Karoo region is one of the driest regions in South Africa with less than 100mm of rainfall per year on average.

In the drier and sunniest parts of the Kalahari, more than 4,000 hours of sunshine are recorded on average each year.

When is the next Sky One Carnage?

Carnage launched on Sky One on May 6, 2018 at 8 p.m. ET.

It will be broadcast every Sunday at the same time until June 3, 2018.

The show is hosted by former England cricketer Freddie Flintoff, MC Lethal Bizzle and Vick Hope.

The object of Carnage is to bring your opponent’s vehicle to a standstill by crashing into it repeatedly.
